Spiral disk brush
CHARACTERISTICS - Outside diameter D = 150, 165, 178 or 200 mm;
- Fitting hole d = 22, 32 or М14 mm;
- Number of turns a minute n = 8000 or 12500.
Outside diameter is 150 mm, 165 mm, width 8 mm, fitting hole 22 mm or M14.
Brushes have 24 strands made of twisted wires with 0,8 mm diameter or 0,6 mm
diameter. Brushes nap with 165 mm diameter is more elastic.
Brush with outside diameter 178 mm and 200 mm with fitting hole 32 mm works
more effectively. Brushes nap is made of high – carbon elastic wire 65G. They have
34 strands. It can be delivered with junction rings with 32 mm, 22 mm in diameter.
Brushes are also used in pneumo-machines, multi – purpose metal – cutting
machines processing centers, automatic or semiautomatic machines in large – series
and mass production.
APPLICATION - oil and gas producing industry;
- metallurgy;
- mechanical engineering.
PURPOSE - conditioning welded seams;
- removing slag from casting;
- cleaning metal from corrosion;
- preparing surface for welding.
Twisted disk-shaped brushes have a number of advantages over abrasive discs.
ADVANTAGES - more effective processing of surfaces with
- complex configuration (due to nap of the brushes it is penetrating more deeply and holding surface more tightly);
- no abrasive dust;
- less tension on workers hands;
- efficiency of labour rises up to 35 - 40%.
